The Confused Porch Monkey

Dear Porch Monkey; Tony G.

You are a complete example of a "Porch Monkey." A confused BLACK man, who thinks because he has a decent job, and a degree, he is equal to white folks. Look let's not kid ourselves. White people will never be on the same level as me.

They will NEVER get followed in a store, just because of their skin.

They will NEVER walk into a business and be treated unfairly because their own the "wrong" side of town.

They will NEVER be the "token" in a show, just to please the angry negro.

They will NEVER live in an area where they're the only because it's what's best for their families.

They will NEVER have to pay more than they earn, for their children to get the same education somebody else gets for free.

They will NEVER be me!

I almost hate to see this dude come around. He makes my skin crawl. He actually thinks that he's better than other black people because he went to school. Big SHIT!!!!! He actually thinks white people see him as TONY and not a Black man, who we needed in the office to make quota.

Get out of here. It has been proven over and over again, that we will never be on the same page. And to top it off, instead of keeping our community, our culture tight, we have idiots like him who believe... and I quote what he said... "We are holding ourselves back." Yes! We are the one's who own the Banks, the top colleges, the fortune 500 companies, the Major grocery stores, the Pharmacies, the Private schools, the local Doctors Offices, the majority of real estate. Yes, it's us.

I can agree with one thing. We are the problem because we can't seem to come together to make a united front. To stand together and be one! ONE COMMUNITY! ONE FAMILY! ONE CULTURE! That raises are children together. That we all go to the Black colleges, schools, and keep the intelligence in house. But no...

We have some Porch Monkey's that are determined to prove they are not Black, that they are just people.

Will sorry asshole. Your Black!

Your grow up in Peteresburg, VA.

You were raised by a single mother.

You have a good education because you wanted too.

You are not special. You are a part of something special, and if you can not see that...

Then I feel sorry for you.

And when the revolution begins, I will look into your eyes after you see the truth and say... "Welcome Home."
